While their duties and obligations are nearly too numerous to recount here, chief among these for an athletic director is the care, concern and welfare of the student-athletes in their charge.An unavoidable subject, in the news daily when referring to professional football, is concussions.The Record-Herald sat down with Jon Creamer and Aaron Hammond, athletic directors at Washington High School and Miami Trace High School, to discuss how the schools handle a student-athlete with a concussion.Denise Bain, long-time athletic trainer at Miami Trace High School, also joined in the conversation.
