Fayette County Memorial Hospital (FCMH) invites you to attend the Surgery Center Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. located in the main hospital. Tour the newly-relocated Surgery Center and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres.

The Surgery Center is over 4,500 square-feet and features seven updated patient rooms, private patient assessment testing rooms, a private consultation room, a spacious waiting area with Wi-Fi access, television, and coffee for visitors to use during a loved one’s procedure.

“The Surgery Center is like something you would see in a big city, it’s modern and updated,” said a member of the hospital auxiliary during a recent tour.

Patients will go to the Surgery Center for pre- and post-testing and recovery after surgery.

FCMH is capable of providing a wide variety of surgical procedures including; Ear Nose and throat, General Surgery, Gynecologic, Urologic, Orthopaedics, Eye Surgery, Pain Procedures, Pulmonary, Plastic Surgery, and Wound Care. Over 2,000 surgical cases were completed at FCMH in 2016.
