Elephant baths draw a crowd

Members of the Washington Fire Department were on hand Wednesday at the fairgrounds to help the Carson and Barnes Circus elephant trainer Louie Delmoral wash elephants Del Rita and Wimpy. The circus visited Fayette County Wednesday evening to provide entertainment complete with elephants, horses, and extraordinary artists.

Veterans of four wars at the Fair

On Thursday at the Fayette County Fair, the Veterans’ booth had the unique opportunity to photograph veterans who served our country in four different wars.
