Vehicle crashes into business

A vehicle crashed into a building on Clinton Avenue at Draper Street that houses GiGi’s Reflexology and Shear Power Barber & Style Shop on Tuesday evening. The driver of a 2003 Pontiac GrandAm was heading southbound on Draper Street and attempted to make a right turn at a red light at the intersection of Draper and Clinton Avenue, and failed to see an oncoming vehicle approaching from the east on Clinton Avenue. According to the Washington C.H. Police Department, the Pontiac was struck in the left front, spun approximately 90 degrees, drove over the curb on the north side of Clinton Avenue and into the side of 602 Clinton Ave. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.
