Annual Book Sale begins this week

The Annual Book Sale with AAUW and Carnegie Library begins this week.

The sale features a variety of items including: Paperbacks, hardcover fiction, children’s books, cookbooks, history and other nonfiction books, DVDs, music cds, and audiobooks. For first pick, $2 gets you into the Preview Sale on Wednesday, July 29 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

On Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31 the sale hours are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with no charge for admission. Finally, Saturday, Aug. 1, features our popular $1 a bag sale! This runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with no charge for admission. Also on Saturday, we welcome My Sister’s House of Fayette County. They will be on site selling pop, hot dogs, and other goodies!

Proceeds from the sale help fund scholarships offered by AAUW and will become part of the library’s general fund to be used for building maintenance, collection development, and technology. The sale starts Wednesday; drop off your donation today!
