Pennington Bakery holds 25th reunion

The 25th-annual reunion of the former Pennington Bakery employees was held on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Our Place Restaurant.

Mary Stolsenberg gave the blessing. A moment of silent prayer for those who have died in the last year or were unable to attend because of health reasons was also observed.

Robert Stackhouse led a brief business meeting and a few people told of relatives who worked at the bakery as well as experiences some had there.

The food was served and all enjoyed a time of fellowship.

Door prizes were awarded and employees were asked to share how many years they worked at the bakery.

Those in attendance were: Nancy Adams, Wendy Adams, Roger Ater, Roger and Joanne Boysel, Mary Belle Cockerill, Ronnie Cornell, Dyan Bloomer, Jim Dollison, Bill and Mary Dunston, Larry and Victoria Edwards, Susan Hamilton, Donna Hill, Kaitlyn Hill, Bill and Mary Holley, James Kimmey, Robert and Jeanie Minshall, Robert and Wilma Pauley, Larry Price, Bugs and Melodi Ramsey, Lewis and Shirley Rittenhouse, Charlie and Kathy Schultz, Robert Stackhouse, Bruce and Lorena Stolsenberg, Mary Stolsenberg, Charles Starkey, Teresa Tobias, Ralph Warner and Gib and Debbie Yoho.

Ralph Warner, who worked at Pennington Bakery for 32 years, and Nancy Adams, whose husband Paul Adams worked in the bakery for 32 years.
