DKG learns about education on Taiwan

The 120-member Delta Kappa Gamma female teachers honorary enjoyed warm fellowship and a dinner catered by The Willow in the St. Colman Parish Hall. Afterward Dr. Vickey Leasure presented the January program, describing her two-year “ex pat” experience as a guidance counselor in a school on Taiwan. Using colorful photos and Chinese artifacts, longtime educator Dr. Leasure, originally from Bloomingburg, regaled the group with story after story that brought astounded gasps and sympathetic chuckles from the DKG teachers present.
