Lions support local graduates

The Washington Lions Club recently held its annual Scholarship Night meeting. This year’s recipients of the $750 scholarships were Washington High School graduate Sarah Leeth and Miami Trace High School graduate Dalton Hennes. The students and their parents joined the Lions for a meal at the Crown Room and enjoyed the evening’s speaker, Matthew McCorkle, superintendent of Washington Schools. The Lions are proud to be a part of the community of support for students as they pursue their goals in life. Pictured here (left to right): Dalton Hennes, Sarah Leeth and Lion Ray Deeks.
