According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 30

Theft: At 7:58 a.m., an employee of Walgreens reported that an unknown male removed merchandise from the store without paying for the items.

Assault: At 3:09 p.m., Austin Kinzer reported that during an argument with a known female, he was physically assaulted. Courtney J. Sanderson was charged with the offense.

Obstructing Official Business: At 3:32 p.m., officers responded to a room at the Bluestone Inn on a reported male at that location who had overdosed on drugs. Officers gained entry to the locked room and EMS rendered aid to the male. A female was found hiding inside the room. She could have opened the door for officers and EMS personnel, but reportedly failed to do so. The female, Amanda E. Monroe, was arrested for the listed offense.

Criminal Damaging: At 4:51 p.m., Jonnetta Tyree reported that during an argument with a known female, the female kicked her front door, causing damage to the door frame.

March 29

Theft: At 11:27 a.m., Margaret McLaughlin reported that while at the YMCA, unknown person(s) removed property from a jacket pocket that was placed inside a tote.

March 28

Obstructing Official Business: At 3:29 p.m., officers located a female on South Fayette Street who had several out-of-county warrants for her arrest. As they attempted to arrest her, she fled on foot. The female, identified as Kandi Jo Jenkins, was apprehended within a short distance and charged accordingly.

Criminal Damaging: At 5:32 p.m., police investigated a complaint of two vehicles parked in the area of the 800 block of South Main Street that were egged, causing paint damage to both.

Theft: At 6:06 p.m., Terry Eggleton reported that unknown person(s) removed two rocking chairs from her front porch.

Assault/Aggravated Menacing: At 8:08 p.m., Larry Parks reported that he was assaulted and threatened by a known person. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

March 27

Larceny: At 1:52 p.m., Dewey Ackley, of 315 Broadway St., reported that an unidentified female removed his wallet and several other items from his home on Friday, March 24.

Menacing: At 7:43 p.m., Ty Brannon, of 515 Eastern Ave., was arrested and charged with menacing after he made threats to assault emergency room staff at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
