Local scouts donate to Food Pantry

Boy Scout Troop 112 held a car wash at the TSC parking lot on Aug. 22 to benefit the Fayette County Food Pantry, which is housed at the First Presbyterian Church. The boys washed over 30 cars and also sold baked goods to earn money to help the less fortunate. Shown in the photo is Karen Bloedel, representative of the Fayette County Food Pantry and the boys who participated. The boys earned $450 and are shown presenting a check for that amount to the Food Pantry. Pictured are: Back row, left to right: David Rutherford, Dylan Paige, Canon Quimby, Ryan Arledge. Front row: Karen Bloedel, Charlie Rutherford, Jacob Downing and Titus Lehr.
