ERA hosts third-annual Mum and Pumpkin Sale fundraiser

On Sept. 25 and 26, ERA Martin and Associates organized and hosted a mum and pumpkin sale fundraiser. All proceeds raised were donated to The Well at Sunnyside and the Warehouse Youth Center.

All of the items sold were provided at a discount by Taylor’s Tunis, a local farmer and merchant.

In just these two days, they were able to raise $1,027.75! That money was split between The Well and The Warehouse Youth Center.

Event organizer, Steven Armstrong, said, “People can say all they want about how bad they think life is here in Fayette County, but to me it’s a pretty impressive community that gathers together in a day and a half to raise over $1,000 for a couple of local organizations. This is definitely something that we should be proud of. It is critical that we always remember to support our local community in any way possible.”

Armstrong also added, “I just want to thank everyone that contributed to this fundraiser. The volunteers were amazing and to everyone that came out I just want to say thank you.
