Seventy-eight people attended the Hope Is Here Rally in Jeffersonville on Sunday, Sept. 27. The pastors prayed with a few people, and some people asked for more information about The Refuge and other places that help people with addictions. Some Kairos Prison Ministry pamphlets were on display, and a few people wanted to know how they could become involved. The next event that people should plan to attend is the Hope Over Heroin, which will be held at 7 p.m. on both Friday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 10 in the parking lot of 1025 South South St. in Wilmington. The event will feature free food, live rock music, prizes and a whole lot of hope.
