According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

OCT. 7

POSSESSION DRUG ABUSE INSTRUMENTS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Officers responded to an address in the 900 block of Gregg St. to assist the squad with a possible drug overdose. While assisting E.M.S. officers located drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia near the male patient. The male identified as Billy J. May was transported to Fayette E.R. for treatment and was later charged with the offenses.

ASSAULT: Officers responded to an address in the 1100 block of Willard Street on a disturbance call. Upon officers arrival several subjects were found in an active fight. The subjects were separated and James M. Stewart was arrested for assault, the other male involved was transported to Fayette E.R. for treatment of his injuries.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A passerby reported that someone shattered the front door glass at Thompson’s Depot on E. Elm Street.
