The Fayette County EMA/HLS/LEPC has released a schedule of meetings to be held in 2016.
Meetings will be held beginning on Jan. 28 at 8 a.m. with an executive meeting. The meetings will continue each month on the fourth Thursday. The dates and times are; executive meeting on Feb. 25 at 8 a.m., regular meeting on March 24 at 6 p.m. for weather spotters, executive meeting on April 28 at 8 a.m., executive meeting on May 26 at 8 a.m., regular meeting on June 23 at 6 p.m., executive meeting on Aug. 25 at 8 a.m., executive meeting on Sept. 22 at 8 a.m. and a regular meeting on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
A meeting will not be held in July because of the timing with the Fayette County Fair and no meetings will be held in November or December. All are open to the public.
The executive meetings will be held at the EMA/HLS/LEPC main office at 133 S. Main St. in Washington C.H. Regular meetings will be held at the Center for Economic Opportunity at 101 E. East St. The EMA/HLS/LEPC is also reminding the community that the location of the Paul E. Hughes Emergency Operation Center is at 4087 U.S. 62 North.
