THEFT: Latosha Larch reported that she was deceived out of an amount around $1,400 by someone during the sale of an item on Craigslist.
THEFT: Carolyn Grooms reported the theft of her SSI Visa debit card by someone.
BURGLARY: Chelse Combs reported that someone forced entry into her residence and removed property.
THEFT: An employee of Verizon Wireless on South Elm St. reported that someone removed merchandise from the store without paying for the items.

LARCENY: Employees of Walgreens reported a male shoplifter in the store. The male was identified as Dustin Combs and was charged with theft.

MISUSE OF A CREDIT CARD: Mary Ann Freeman reported that someone made three fraudulent charges to her Master Card account.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Cynthia Mills reported that during a verbal argument with a family or household member she was physically assaulted. Colton L. Mills was arrested for the offense.

OBSTRUCTING OFFICIAL BUSINESS: Kyle Wilson of South Main Street was arrested after he gave officers a false name.
