The Fayette County 4-H FCS Board would like to remind 4-H eligible youth about the Cooking and Sewing Fun Night. It will be held this Friday, Feb. 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the OSU Extension Office at 1415 U.S. Route 22 Southwest, Washington Court House.

If you would like to learn more about sewing, you can learn how to use a sewing machine to make a pillow or a doll dress. Those interested in cooking will learn how to properly measure ingredients and correctly read a recipe by making trail mix and either bean salsa or nachos.

To participate, there is a cost of $4, which includes materials and a pizza dinner for the evening. You don’t have to be signed up for a clothing or nutrition project to attend, but you must make a reservation by calling the Extension Office at 740-335-1150 by noon on Feb. 18th.
