INDIANAPOLIS – Mayer Farm Equipment, LLC together with AGCO Corporation participated in the National FFA Organization AGCO dealer’s chapter grant program through the National FFA Foundation for an opportunity to recognize and support local FFA chapters.

Through the chapter grant program, AGCO and its strong independent dealer network continue to support FFA at the local, state and national levels. In recognition of each dealer’s contribution, a local chapter selected by the AGCO dealer received an $800 grant check for chapter use. In addition to the chapter award, the state receives a $200 grant check.

This year marks the second year of the program. Twenty grants were awarded this month, which will be used to support ongoing student projects, purchase new classroom equipment and support new students projects. “Through chapter grant programs, dealers offer amazing opportunities that impact FFA at all levels – local, state and national. AGCO dealers support FFA, and its 629,367 members. It makes obtaining our mission of making a positive difference in the lives of our members possible,” said Molly Ball, president, National FFA Foundation.

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 629,367 student members who belong to one of the 7,757 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
