Voices of Ohio to perform at GUM Church

The Voices of Ohio is a dynamic, exciting, professional adult vocal show group that performs a wide variety of contemporary and traditional music.

The Voices of Ohio will be returning to the Grace United Methodist Church, 301 E. Market St., Washington Court House at 7 p.m., on Saturday, April 9.

Called “The Lawrence Welk Show for the Baby-Boomer Generation,” The Voices of Ohio have entertained audiences for the past nine years at festivals, fairs and functions throughout the great state of Ohio along with accompanying Grammy-winning recording artist Kenny Rogers on his annual Christmas and Hits Tour. As youths, our members entertained audiences in concert halls throughout Europe; were part of the first marching, singing group to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade; made an unprecedented five appearances in Tournament of Roses parade, and performed for audiences every summer at the Ohio State Fair.

The Voices of Ohio is a group of vocalists whose Good Times! Good Music! Good Memories! Show is a walk through the popular music songbook. Whether it is a 1950s hit by the King of Rock n’ Roll (Heartbreak Hotel), a British Invasion crowd pleaser (Downtown), a 1970s soft rock favorite (We’ve Only Just Begun), today’s country chart-topper (Man, I Feel Like a Woman), a salute to our military, a selection of inspiration (My Tribute) and a not-to-be-missed star-spangled finale, the show will leave everyone in attendance with a night of great memories.
