Good Hope Lions give back to community

0

Each year the proceeds from the Good Hope Lions Club Candy Store and Pancake Suppers are donated back to the community in forms of scholarships and donations to community projects. These projects include food pantries here in Washington C.H. and Greenfield, school projects, meals on wheels, United Way, Hospice, cystic fibrosis, eye bank and research, the diabetes association, and many more. Pictured are Carol Waddle (right), scholarship chair from Miami Trace, Mallory Bihl, scholarship chair from Washington High School and Gary Spears from the Good Hope Lions. Each school receives six $500 scholarships to give to graduating seniors. Again, the Good Hope Lions Club thanks the individuals who support the club’s money making projects.
