Erica Cherise (Merritt) Ragland and Caleb Adam McKinney announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Miami Trace High School. She is an EMT and a sales associate at Craig’s Shoes and Sports. Ragland is a Girl Scout Leader in Fayette County and a GLOW teacher at the Gathering Place Church. She has an 8-year-old daughter, Mikhaylee Ragland.
The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Washington Senior High School. McKinney is a firefighter for the City of Washington Court House and employed by Wellman Funeral Home.
Together McKinney and Ragland are attending the Southern Ohio School of Ministry in Chillicothe and plan to go into outreach ministries and children’s ministry. The couple attend the Gathering Place Church. Together they enjoy coaching baseball, playing softball on the weekends and golfing.
The couple has been engaged since Nov. 27, 2014 and is planning their outdoor weeding on May 21.
