Fayette County participates in NDOP

The Fayette County National Day of Prayer event was held on Thursday at the Grace United Methodist Church on Market Street in Washington Court House. A large crowd attended the event to pray for the country and other issues.

Fayette County Commissioner, Tony Anderson, read the proclamation the commissioners signed recently naming May 5 as the National Day of Prayer in Fayette County.

The Fayette County Commission on Aging held a patriotic luncheon for the National Day of Prayer. Mary Smedley played the piano for the event.

New Holland Church of Christ pastor Richard Matthews officiated the luncheon at the Commission on Aging.
