Rowdy Ranchers hold officer installation

The Rowdy Ranchers’ Installation of 4-H Officers Ceremony was held on March 15 at the home of the advisors. Advisor Cindi Grover conducted the candlelight service. Members were given their officer assignments.

In new business, it was reported that the theme for the 2015 4-H camp is “Coming to your City.” The members agreed to donate a $15 auction item for the 4-H carnival to support 4-H camp.

Guest speaker, Carole Pontious, president of the Fayette County Meat Goat Association, reported that there will be a new performance goat class at the fair using the following criteria: rate of gain, class placing, and ultrasound carcass quality. A $200 cash prize will be sponsored by the Fayette County Meat Goat Association.

Alexa Woods served refreshments. Next meeting will be April 12.
