COA purchases new transport bus

The Fayette County Commission On Aging received a 5310 grant that helped to provide a majority of the funding to help the center purchase a much needed bus to transport the senior citizens of Fayette County. Cheryl Stockwell, the director of the center, is shown here giving the keys of the new bus to transportation drivers, John Morris, Paul Edgington and transportation supervisor Lori Bach. If you are 60 years of age or older, the COA can provide transportation for you in Fayette County. It is a $1 each-way suggested donation and you must reserve your ride 24 hours in advance at 335-2159.
