Kirk’s Furniture named Chamber Business of the Month

Kirk’s Furniture is the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for June.


One hundred and three years in business, spanning five generations is something special, and that’s why Kirk’s Furniture is the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for June.

Located at 9 W. Front St. in New Holland, the business sells furniture for all rooms, appliances, floor coverings, mattresses, lamps and home décor. The business was started by Cassius and Ansel Kirkpatrick, Sr. and is now operated by brothers, and great grandsons of Cassius, Randy and Bruce Kirkpatrick. Six people work at Kirk’s Furniture, including Bruce’s son, Brock.

Store hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., and as they say in their advertising, “Always closed on Sundays!”

“Congratulations to Kirk’s Furniture on this milestone anniversary,” said Whitney Gentry, chamber president.
