Relay for Life remembers lost, celebrates victories


The Fayette County Relay for Life was held Friday at the Washington High School Track and Field, and local organizations took time this season to participate in the relay and help in the fight against cancer. Pictured is the First Presbyterian Church booth.


Prime Meats and Deli sold sandwiches and walked during the relay Friday.


Bearing proudly “In Loving Memory Sharon Kay Funk,” this team walked in remembrance of one of their own.


A life-sized Operation game was available for participants to try.


The Adena Hope Patrol was one of several teams who participated in the relay.


Grady Miller and Paisley Mason won the 0-3-year-old Little Miss and Mister Relay contest on Friday. They are pictured with their parents.
