Baymont Inn-Jeff South, Jeffersonville. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: A refrigerator unit needs to be replaced with industrial NSF refrigerator, whirlpool refrigerator needs to be replaced, GE fridge should be replaced soon due to uneven cooling, no sanitizer for the three compartment sink.

JUNE 15

Pettit’s #5, Greenfield. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: Observed food debris on can opener, observed food debris on the meat slice, observed thermometer not working properly in the small deli case in front of the store, observed wall paper on wall behind three compartment sink in back room area, observed deli sandwiches in cooler in front of store without proper labeling. *Manager is creating a time in lieu of temperature chart for the pizza in the Nemco hot holder and will submit that to the Fayette County Health Department.

JUNE 16

Hampton Inn, Jeffersonville. Standard inspection. Violations/comments: No violations at this time.

JUNE 24

Pettit’s #5, Greenfield. Follow-up inspection. Violations/comments: Observed manager removed wall paper from back room and replaced it with a smooth and easily cleanable surface, observed ingredients placed on front cooler where subs and sandwiches are in reach of customers, observed meat slice clean to sigh and touch, observed pizza Nemco at 141 degrees and needs to be at least 135, all violations have been corrected.
