The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following, according to reports:

JULY 6

HARASSMENT BY INMATE: A female juvenile, who was under arrest and in custody, spit on a deputy. She was transported to juvenile court and charged in the incident.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Lisa Henness, of Greenfield, was Eastbound on Barger Rd near 10044 Barger Rd she lost control of her vehicle going off the right side of the roadway striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Mrs. Henness was cited for failure to control.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Kiersten Robinson of Washington C.H. was backing out of a parking space on the lot of Chipotle she struck another vehicle that was parked next her vehicle unoccupied facing west. No injuries were report.

BURGLARY/THEFT: Pablo Rodriguez of Bloomingburg reported unknown person(s) forced entry in to his residence while he was not home through the rear door and removed various items.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Emily Matthews of Bloomingburg reported three occasions, a known person assaulted her. A warrant for domestic violence was issued. Jed Young was located and arrested on the Domestic Violence warrant and transported to the Fayette County Jail.

JULY 5

THEFT: John Benton of Charlotte, N.C., reported while parked at the T/A Travel Center person(s) unknown removed items from his flatbed trailer.

ASSAULT/DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Carla Woods of Bloomingburg reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with a known person and then assaulted. Prosecution was declined at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: An employee of the Ranch of Opportunity reported two female juveniles damaged her motor vehicle with rocks.

SPEED/OVI/NO DRIVER’S LICENSE/FORGERY: A sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop for excessive speed. The driver was identified and found under the influence, driving without a valid license, and possessing forged documents. Wermer Barasquac of Washington C.H. was charged in the incident.

ROBBERY: Kayla A. Backenstoe of Washington C.H. reported while visiting with a friend, two unknown males approached her taking her purse, keys and cellular telephone.

FOUND PROPERTY: Gloria Morris of Washington CH, Ohio reported she had located an abandoned trailer at the rear of her property.

JULY 4

LITTERING: Daniel C. Kelly of Washington CH reported sometime overnight persons unknown littered items near his driveway.

THEFT: Carla Woods of Bloomingburg, Ohio reported a known person used her bank account.

CASUALTY: Paul E. Knorr of Washington CH, Ohio was injured after his lawn tractor had rolled over on top of him. Knorr was transported by squad to Fayette County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE/ THEFT: Kathy Boltenhouse of Washington C.H. reported a known person removed a firearm and motor vehicle from her residence. The vehicle and the firearm were later returned to the Boltenhouse’s. Donald E. Johnson of Washington C.H. was charged in the offense.
