Grammy Kay and Landon Smith brought their dog Ginger to the story hour for the pet parade.

Miss Bonnie’s Story Hour recently celebrated Independence Day by reading stories about how they celebrate July 4 as well as holding a pet parade where participants could bring their pet or take a pet (stuffed animal) from the library of their choosing and walk around the library and then completed the fun by creating ring streamers as the craft.

It was “World Neighbors Day” at Jeffersonville Branch Library and Miss Linda celebrated it by hosting a handprint craft. Riley Cook enjoyed creating her beautiful artwork as did many others during the workshop. The poem in the center of the hands said: “Let’s put our hands together now and make this solemn vow. You be my friend and I’ll be yours and we’ll show the whole world how!”
