Franklin Edward (Eddie) Shoemaker, 1978 graduate of Miami Trace High School, recently graduated from Northcentral University with a doctorate of philosophy in psychology degree during graduation ceremonies in Phoenix, Ariz. on July 9.

Dr. Shoemaker is the son of the late Layton Shoemaker and Patricia Shoemaker of Washington C.H. Dr. Shoemaker earned his bachelor of arts degree in psychology at The Union Institute and Master of Arts degree in biblical counseling at Trinity Bible College & Seminary.

Dr. Shoemaker and his wife Tonya A. Sharrett-Shoemaker reside in Lakeland, Fla. Dr. Shoemaker is a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Mr. Ed’s Family & Education Intervention Services Inc. with offices in Lakeland and Dade City, Fla.
