The Fayette County Farm Bureau and Fayette County Farmers’ Market are presenting a charity dinner of remembrance as they team up to support Hospice and all of the great work they do in the county.

Organizers said that this dinner is designed to bring the community together for a common cause and showcase its richness in local agriculture. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Hospice of Fayette County “Expanding Our Heart” program.

Hospice, located at 222 Oakland Ave., provides comfort, symptom management, and physical, mental and spiritual support when there is a life-limiting illness. This event will raise money to support their efforts to help ensure that all residents of Fayette County have access to their services should they need them.

The menu will highlight hometown farmers and producers. Dinner guests will enjoy locally produced beef and pork as well as delicious harvest sides. A cash bar, serving local beer and wine, will be available along with a dessert auction. Dinner will be accompanied by live music by the band Cattywampus.

The event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20 with social hour starting at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Graciously hosting this event will be Garland Farms at 362 Bunkerhill-Glendon Road in Washington Court House.

Tickets are $40 for Farm Bureau members and $45 for non-members. Tickets may be ordered online at: www.fayettecountyfarmtofork.eventbrite.com or by calling the Fayette County Farm Bureau office at (937) 382-4407.
