Dan Roberts, retired Miami Trace Superintendent, will be the featured speaker at the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Business to Business (B2B) Networking Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 11:30 a.m. at the Crown Room.

“Improving Your Presentation Skills” is the topic and Roberts will share tips on how to put your best foot forward at just the right time, whether it’s a sales pitch or a presentation to a large group.

After retiring from Miami Trace Local School District, Roberts has taken a position as an education specialist for business development at SHP Leading Design. SHP Leading Design is a nationally-known leader in planning, designing and managing facilities for clients in the K-12, higher education, vocational/technical and community college industries. Roberts resides in Washington Court House with his wife, Cherise, who recently retired from Miami Trace Local Schools. They have two grown children.

Tickets to attend the luncheon are $15 each, which includes lunch, and can be purchased at the Fayette County Chamber Office, 101 E. East St. in Washington C.H., or by calling (740) 335-0761. The event is open to anyone and is part of the chamber monthly B2B lunch series that provides networking and educational opportunities to business leaders in the community.
