On Saturday, Aug. 20, Military Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) is partnering with CRM Ministries to host a Back-to-School Day to provide school clothes and school supply assistance to veteran and service member families.
It will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Military Veterans Resource Center, located at 631 Central Center in Chillicothe. Clothing options will be available for children entering kindergarten through middle school.
The Back-to-School Day is part of Military Veterans Resource Center’s Operation: Tools for School program, which provides school supply assistance to veterans and their families. If families cannot attend the Back-to-School Day event, they can still receive school supply help through Thursday, Sept. 15.
Donations to Operation: Tools for School are always welcome and can be made at milvetsrc.org/tools. For more information about this program, contact Dennis Lambert at 740-571-4555 or Brandon Taylor at 740-835-5145.
