Local produce and goods at Wednesday Market

In addition to lots of local produce, goods ranging from essential oils, jams, breads, eggs, and chicken meat to pies, cakes and cookies will be at Wednesday’s market.

Please refer to vendor list below. The following is a list of vendors that expect to be at the market. Other vendors may be in attendance also. The Wednesday edition of the Fayette County Farmers’ Market is located at 1650 Columbus Ave. (TSC parking lot) in Washington C.H. and operates from 4 to 7 p.m. This location also accepts charge/debit cards and SNAP EBT cards. SNAP EBT recipients will again be eligible to earn up to $10 in Veggie SNAP produce BOGO bucks on their purchases.

Gerhardt’s (Kevin Gerhardt): spaghetti squash, red, yellow and orange seedless watermelons, red seeded watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, tomatoes, peppers, and white sweet corn.

Jones Farm Fresh Produce (Jon and Taylor Jones): sweet corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, green beans, red onions, zucchini, yellow squash, patty pan squash, cucumbers, tomatoes (slicing and cherry), an assortment of peppers, brown eggs, chicken breasts, chorizo and sweet Italian chicken links. *Wing Sale- just in time for Labor Day weekend!*

Chilcote Farms (Marlene Chilcote): local honey, caramels and cookies.

King Farms (Jeff and Sandi King): slicing tomatoes (red, orange), red, orange cherry tomatoes, red & Yukon Gold potatoes and homemade pies and cookies.

Forgotten Way Farm (Cathy Ludi): THERAPEUTIC GRADE essential oils, homemade lye soap, lip balms, bath salts, laundry soaps and wooden signs.

B.Y.E. Gardens (Brian and Elaine Yoder): tomatoes, bell peppers, candy onions, cucumbers, watermelon, sweet potatoes, local honey, decorative popcorn, butternut squash, sweet breads, cinnamon rolls, and cold drinks.

WindFlower Farm (Elaine Anschutz): baked goods, culinary mixes, Elaine also has info on the Fayette County Dog Shelter.

Mary’s This ‘n That (Mary Ford): pineapple banana bread, apple butter bread, peanut butter fudge, flax crackers, catnip toys, dog sweaters, large and small goose dresses, and fabric coasters.

The Martin’s Baked Goods (Cinda Martin, Gregory and Alicia): seasonal produce, angel food cakes, assorted breads including cinnamon swirl, whole wheat, dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls and sticky buns.

Persinger Produce & Cottage Food (David Persinger): jams/jellies, pecan and no nut Texas sheet cakes.
