It happened in Fayette County Common Pleas Court this week:

Troy Lee Perkins, 36, of Washington C.H., was arraigned on an indictment charging four counts of non-support of dependents. According to the record, Perkins allegedly failed to pay support as determined by a court order between June 2014 and May 2016.

Sarah H. Daniels, 54, of Washington C.H., appeared for a community control violation after she allegedly refused to attend Fayette Recovery and continued to abuse pain pills and heroin. According to court records, Daniels was indicted in 2015 on charges of theft and misuse of a credit card after a neighbor reported she had used his credit card at various ATMs around town, taking $1,662 before he was able to cancel the card. Her community control was revoked Monday and she was sentenced to time already served in the Fayette County Jail and ordered to pay costs.

Sharon Cox, 39, of Washington C.H., reportedly stopped making restitution payments to the Department of Job and Family Services after she plead guilty to theft by deception. Cox failed to report her income to the agency and still owes $2,210.36 in restitution. Her hearing was continued to Nov. 7.

Christopher R. Barker, 44, of Tornado, W.Va., was indicted in June for improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle. Barker was a passenger in a car that was stopped for speeding by Washington C.H. Police. The driver of the car was intoxicated with a .187 BAC. A loaded Glock was found in the door compartment in plain view. Barker said he didn’t have a CCW. His trial was continued to Sept. 21.
