According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 4

Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication: At 12:57 a.m., Allen Tagg was arrested after officers responded to Riverbirch in reference to him pounding on windows, requesting to see a female.

Assault: At 2:15 a.m., Mindy Butcher was arrested for assault after officers observed her assaulting another female after departing Winkin’ Willy’s.

Collin Campbell reported that his vehicle was broken into between 5:55 a.m. and 7:22 a.m. Campbell advised that the offender(s) broke out a window and removed a wallet from inside the vehicle.

Officers located Kasey Harper sleeping behind 1280 Rawlings St. while attempting to serve a warrant. A bag was located on the blanket Harper was sleeping on and was found to contain syringes and drug paraphernalia. Harper was subsequently charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Officers had contact with Ermon Whitamore after receiving a complaint of a person passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at 1205 S. Elm St. Whitamore was found asleep in the running vehicle and had a loaded syringe in his hand and other drug paraphernalia on his seat. Whitamore was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug abuse instrument.

Sept. 3

Theft: At 11:32 a.m., an employee of Boost Mobile reported that money was missing out of the bank deposit.

Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication, Open Container: At 7:14 p.m., Mark Hoagland was arrested after officers found him intoxicated to the point that he was unable to care for himself, while possessing an open container of alcohol.

Possessing Drug Abuse Instrument, Obstructing Official Business: At 11:08 p.m., Bradley Hixson was arrested after officers responded to a complaint about drug use inside the residence. Officers located a syringe used to ingest drugs. Hixson also reportedly misled officers about who and how many people were inside of his apartment. Andie L. Cox was also arrested on a failure to comply bench warrant through the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Sept. 1

Receiving Stolen Property: At 10:40 a.m., April Cooper reported that she believed a family member removed a Sony Play Station 4 game system from her residence and pawned it. The game system was located at Cashland and the male who pawned it was identified as Shane M. Cooper. Cooper was charged with the offense.

Theft: At 2:41 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported that a female selected merchandise and attempted to lave the store without paying for the items. Dana M. Barners was arrested for the offense.

Domestic Violence: Michael Whiting reported that during an argument with a family or household member he was physically assaulted. Tanya R. Whiting was arrested for the offense.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: Officers responded to an address in the 1000 block of Yeoman Street in reference to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, officers located the male and EMS rendered medical aid. The male, identified as Kimball L. Pettiford, was found in possession of drug abuse instruments and was later charged with the offense.

Breaking & Entering/Criminal Damaging: Peggy Fout reported that unknown person(s) attempted entry into her detached garage, which resulted in the door frame being damaged.
