First State Bank donates to Washington C.H. athletic program

The First State Bank team recently donated $450 to the Washington City Schools’ athletic program for the fall sports season.

The contribution toward the program was made at the Washington Court House football game on Friday, Sept. 16.

The official check presentation was made before the game. The check was presented by Mark Richards, manager, and Karen Cassidy, office manager of the Washington Court House Banking Center, to Jon Creamer, athletic director.

“As a locally-owned community bank, supporting our local schools is very important to us,” said Richards. “We were excited to make the contribution and wish all Blue Lions fall athletes and fans a great season.”
