Prayer Riders had a successful fundraising event on Saturday, March 1. There was a delicious homemade dinner served accompanied by lovely cake preparation from Cakes by Susan, all of which were donated to the cause.
Those in attendance enjoyed dinner music followed by a very nice talk given by Anna Brooks, Pastor’s wife at AHOP church located in Xenia, whose time was also a donation. As well, we would like to thank the Seyfang’s for the use of their building at 134 W. Court St., Prayer Rider members for their time and effort, everyone who came in show of support, and most importantly, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing our efforts to bring glory and honor to Him.
Prayer Riders underwent this dinner event as a means to help raise funds for our second-annual Prayer Ride which is scheduled for Saturday, June 21. We believe as the Bible says in Luke 14:23, that we are to “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” We are a motorcycle club that is GOD-centered and community-minded.
Prayer Riders are Christian people who enjoy riding motorcycles. Along with the upcoming Prayer Ride, we also have the following rides scheduled: April 19 to Cantwell Cliffs in Hocking Hills, May 3 down by the river to take a ferry ride, and also May 17-18 to Canton to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We invite anyone interested to join us for any one, or all of these events. We encourage you to follow us on Facebook for further information, or feel free to inquire at (740) 606-0256.
We look forward to another year of beautiful weather, safe rides, fun with friends, old and new, and everything we do going to the glory of God.
