Heritage to hold ‘Journey Through Bethlehem’

Heritage Memorial Church is preparing for a special display this Christmas season as they invite the community to “Journey Through Bethlehem.”

This Christmas the community can become part of the story of Jesus Christ as Heritage will help discover historical accounts of the Christ Nativity. They invite the community to meet “people who were there” which includes soldiers, priests and beggars. Talk with shepherds and Magi traveling with their sheep, donkeys and camels. Savor the sights, sounds, smells and flavors of the ancient Biblical age and encounter the Christ child story in a new way.

The church, located at 1867 Old U.S. 35 NW in Washington C.H., will hold this special event on Dec. 11, 12 and 13. The guided tours will be held from 5 until 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required and can be called in at (740) 335-1700 by Dec. 9. The church hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.

Remember to check out www.heritagewch.com for more information about the church.
