Members of the New Holland United Methodist Women assembled at the church Aug. 2 for a potluck lunch and good fellowship.

The invocation was given by Rev. Brian Dunham. Ann Thompson, president, called the meeting to order. Janet Kirkpatrick gave the devotions entitled “ The Black Dot.” The minutes for the June meeting were read by Betsy McFadden, secretary, and Pat Taylor, treasurer, gave the treasurer’s report.

Pat Overly was thanked for the fried chicken for the potluck dinner and everyone for their delicious side dishes. The afternoon was enjoyed by all in attendance playing games. Shirley Tarbill was chairman of the fun and fellowship afternoon. Kara Polichetti and children were guests.

The Sept. 6 meeting will be held in the home of Jodi Kirkpatrick at 2:30 p.m. The program and devotions will be presented by Kay Oughterson. Hostesses will be Pat Overly and Jodi Kirkpatrick.
