The sixth-annual “A Tasteful Event” was enjoyed by 200 guests on Sept. 17, and marks the beginning of the S.O.C.K.S. fundraising campaign for 2016.

The event, sponsored by Good Shepherd Lutheran and St. Andrew’s Episcopal churches, raises money and proceeds are donated to the S.O.C.K.S. Program—Spirit of Christmas for Kids. S.O.C.K.S. provides new toys for children in Fayette County at Christmas time.

“A Tasteful Event” is a food and beverage tasting event and included a silent auction for OSU football tickets and raffle prizes.

Good Shepherd and St. Andrew’s would like to thank the following businesses for participating: B & B Bakery, Werner’s Smoke House, Streetside 62 Bistro, Nagasaki Restaurant, Heidelberg Distributing, Country Cakes and Bakes, and J’s Corner.
