Blue Lion 8th grade falls to Tigers, 44-36

The Washington Blue Lion eighth grade boys basketball team played at McClain High School Thursday against the Greenfield Tigers.


Greenfield won the game, 44-36.


The game was played in McClain’s old high school gym.


Garrett Schall led the Blue Lions with 11 points. He made three three-point field goals.


Kenny Arboleda had a breakout game, coach Ryan Lynch said, scoring eight.


Nick Barrett and Jordan Behm each scored four.


Eli Ruth, Corey Dublin, Austin Bailey, and Austin Joseph each added a basket, and Jack Luebbe hit a free throw to complete the scoring.


Washington hosts Miami Trace Monday with the seventh grade game starting at 5 p.m.
