Many absentee ballots already cast

With two weeks until the 2014 General Election, nearly 810,000 Ohioans have requested and/or cast their absentee ballots, according to Secretary of State Jon Husted.Based on an informal survey of Ohio’s 88 county boards of elections, as of Friday, Oct. 17, 773,241 voters requested absentee ballots to vote by mail, and of those, 238,330 ballots have been cast. There have been 2,635 military and overseas ballots requested with 563 having been cast so far.
