Lady Lion tennis beats Lady Panthers, 5-0

The Washington Lady Blue Lions hosted Miami Trace in a varsity tennis match on Monday, Oct. 3.

Washington won the match, 5-0.

At first singles, Megan Downing beat Jackie Wisecup, 6-0, 6-1.

At second singles, Anna Nestor defeated Haiven Pepper, 6-0, 6-0.

Sydnie Hall beat Cameron Bucher at third singles, 6-1, 6-1.

At first doubles, Sierra Dawson and Maria Pickerill beat Bayley Thompson and Anita Pursell, 6-0, 6-1.

At second doubles, Gretchen Milstead and Ashton Carr beat Beth Hogsett and Kyleigh Slone, 6-0, 6-1.

Washington won two j-v matches against Miami Trace.

Yui Kobayashi beat Kenzie Seyfang, 8-1 and Jen Richards and Brynne Frederick defeated Macy Detty and Cassie VanDyke, 8-6.
