GREENFIELD — The Washington Lady Blue Lion j-v basketball team traveled to McClain High School in Greenfield Wednesday, Jan. 18, to take on the McClain Lady Tigers.

McClain won the game, 39-25.

The disparity at the free throw line was readily apparent.

McClain made 10 of 12 attempts from the line, while Washington did not go to the line during the game.

McClain’s Hunter Scott was the game’s leading scorer with 13 points.

Halli Wall led Washington with 11 points, including one three-point field goal.

Also for Washington, Shawna Conger scored five points (with one three-point field goal), Raven Haithcock had one three-point field goal, while Savannah Davis, Samantha Sever and Maddy Jenkins each scored two points.

For McClain, Macie Adams had seven points (one three-pointer), Beckley Smith had six points, Bryn Karnes scored four, Cierra Bolender and Meg O’Conner both scored three points, Hannah Smith had two points and Madison Noel scored one.
