Blue Lion golf falls to Unioto

The Washington Blue Lion golf team hosted Unioto in a non-league match Tuesday, Aug. 18 at the Club at Quail Run.

Unioto won the match with a team score of 160 to 170 for the Blue Lions.

Washington’s Max Knisley was medalist with a 37.

Kyler Mount shot a 41, Griffin Shaw a 44, Tyler Rood shot a 48, Cole Massie recorded a 57 and Trevor Mustain, 60.

Peyton Cooper was low for the Shermans with a 38.

Bain Adkins backed that up with a 39.

Wes Davenport shot a 40, Bailey Mulkern, 43; Scott Freeman, 44 and Cole Karr, 49.

Washington’s next match will be Thursday at Buckeye Hills at 4 p.m. against McClain.

Washington’s quad match with Clinton-Massie, East Clinton and Hillsboro, postponed on Aug. 10, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16.
