Falcons win SCOL golf quad at Hillsboro; Blue Lions 4th

HILLSBORO — The Washington Blue Lion golf team took part in a quadrangular meet at the Hillsboro Elks Club Monday afternoon, Aug. 31.

Clinton-Massie won with a team score of 175.

East Clinton was second with a 181.

Washington and Hillsboro tied with a 184.

Hillsboro took third place with the tie-breaker of the fifth man’s score.

Washington’s Max Knisley was medalist with a 39.

Also for Washington, Kyler Mount shot a 42; Griffin Shaw shot a 50; Tyler Rood had a score of 53; Cole Massie, 55 and Trevor Mustain, 58.

Scores for Hillsboro: Travis Wehrung, 45; Jacob Deatley, 46; Christian Green, 46; Anthony Ventura, 47; Cameron Reed, 51 and Camryn Green, 53.

Scores for Clinton-Massie: Drew Kienle, 41; Keith Mineer, 43; Cam Collett, 43; Thomas Carter, 48; Max Carnavelie, 49; Caleb Enright, 52.

Scores for East Clinton: Jon Blair, 40; Paul Luttrell, 42; Cole Jenkins, 48; Ethan Cornwell, 51; Shane Streber, 63 and Brandon Michael, 85.

Washington will continue SCOL play Thursday, Sept. 3 at Wilmington.
