Panthers fall to Dublin Jerome Celtics

The Miami Trace boys basketball team hosted the Celtics of Dublin Jerome High School for a triple header of action Saturday evening.

The Celtics won the varsity game, 90-54.

Miami Trace junior Blake Pittser led the Panthers with 12 points.

Junior DeAndre Pettiford and sophomore Darby Tyree were next, each with eight points.

Dublin Jerome put four players in double figures, with three players each, Colton Irion, Seve Stavroff and Mason Baich, scoring 19 points.

Jake Wilson had 13 for the Celtics.

Dublin Jerome led 24-8 at the end of the first quarter and 47-20 at halftime.

The Celtics held a 73-36 lead after three quarters of play en route to the win.

Miami Trace (2-3 overall, 2-1 in the SCOL) will be at home tonight, taking on Chillicothe with the freshman game starting at 4:45 p.m.

Adam Ginn and Matt Fender shared team scoring honors for the Panthers, each with six points.

Joe Dunnan led Dublin Jerome with 15 points.
