Fayette County and surrounding areas felt the first full-fledged blast of winter weather Tuesday and with it came the first postponements of the local sports calendar.

Miami Trace was scheduled to host East Clinton, while Washington was set to go up against the league-leading Hurricane at Wilmington High School Tuesday.

Those events, and others were postponed due to the weather conditions.

Washington High School announced that the Washington at Wilmington game has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11. That will be j-v and varsity, beginning at 6 p.m.
