Panther tennis beat Hillsboro, 4-1

The Miami Trace tennis team picked up its second SCOL win of the season on Monday, April 25, defeating the team from Hillsboro, four courts to one.

The Panthers won the first two singles courts and both doubles courts in the match played at the Club at Quail Run.

Seth Leach won his first singles match over Daniel Jacky, 6-1, 6-1.

Matt Fender beat Spencer Brown at second singles, 6-1, 6-1.

Todd Peterson lost to Andrew Gunderman at third singles, 3-6, 0-6.

At first doubles, Adam Ginn and Johnathan Allen defeated Dawson Carter and Austin Bumgardner, 6-1, 6-4.

At second doubles, Riley Evans and Ely Schirtzinger beat Austin Penda and Rory Foley, 6-2, 6-1.

The Panthers held an inner-squad match for JV, and Drew Stanforth topped Elijah Campbell 8-6 in a pro-set.
