14u WCH Cougars Win Memorial Mash Tournament

The WCH Cougars 14u team traveled to Lebanon on Saturday, May 28 for a holiday softball tournament.

In their first round of pool play, they run-ruled Bexley, 17-0.

In their second game, it was a defensive showdown against Leesburg, but the Cougars came away with the 1-0 win. This game gave them the No. 1 seed going into Sunday.

On Sunday, their first game was against the Fairborn Firestorm. The Cougars won 16-1. They then had to face Leesburg once again in the championship game.

This time the Cougars won 8-0 over the Lions to go undefeated and take home their first championship of the season.
